The Silent Tower

As you reach the top of the Silent Tower, you find yourselves in an oval, roofless room. The stars seem to move much faster than they normally would. The sky is an eternal, dynamic night.

In the center of the room there is a large pool with an old man sleeping, submerged in clear water that reflects the intense light of the stars. The two, large-eared archers can be seen atop the walls of the Enclosure, bows ready and looking outward, ever vigilant. Their ears twitch and turn at sounds too far for you to hear.

About The Silent Tower:

The Silent Tower is a campaign initiator tool that can be used as an encounter, a single map hex in a hex crawl, an interlude between adventures, or even a complete campaign that expands the concepts presented at the end of this adventure. At the beginning of this adventure, characters must roll a secret "fate" on the Fate Table. The Judge will record them secretly. These fates will not be revealed by the Judge until the end of the game. The Wise Man, in his Enclosure at the top of the Silent Tower, will reveal these secrets...
