An intersting clusterf....

An unusual little book filled with intriguing concepts, featuring a “diceless” RPG mechanism and guidelines that can be summarized in 10 pages or less; followed by over 280 pages of bizarre to nonsensical musings about a setting that isn't actually a setting, a teenager's perspective on blending mythologies, hints of humorous obscure "wisdom" and "cereal box" esoterism, a cult-like discourse on summoning a muse, and a directive to "create" sagas without adequate literary expertise to accomplish it. It may very well be the most peculiar RPG book in my collection, yet I purchased it due to my interest in the system. And it truly is interesting. Even though the book is a chaotic mix (the creator desperately needed a skilled editor), there are some outstanding insights buried within the conceptual chaos. This work could have thrived as a well-structured 30-40 page zine or a 100-page book enriched with a bit of context and some random tables.

On a whim and now I'm crazy

Firstly - beautiful book. The hardcover is so nice, the embossing and the color. The inside - again. Beautiful. Just flipping through I felt like it was a fever dream. Crazy visuals of almost occult like stuff mixed with almost stock black and white photos of Greek gods and lions with touches of like 6th grader artist trying to hard.

As for the game it self. It's nuts. In the end you do this cool numbered circle things where if you are close or not to the secret number it passes. But furthermore the book pretty much tells you to throw out the rules and just get lost in the roleplay. Like it's a super easy system but it goes hard - you can get lost in this world.

Other than that it's also a great book for ideas. I used it more to generate new world and ideas for magic.

It's a cool book.
