In the days when the world was young the starmasons crafted a citadel from starlight in which resided one of the ten Moon Gods.
Now the celestial deity has reached the end of their life, their godly appendages entombed in secret places throughout the mighty palace in order to hide the moon’s fabled secrets.
Starlit Citadel of a Fallen Moon God is a evocative dungeon written by Scott Malthouse and eloquently laid out by James Millichamp for use with Micah Anderson's bastards. system. Featuring artwork from Brandon Yu and public domain collages by Jamzilla. This project was dreamed up by Matthew Morris of ManaDawn Tabletop Games.
Hooks
The Queen of Loam charges the PCs with overthrowing the citadel and uniting the body so that she can rule from her celestial throne. Rewards: A well-paid advisory role in her moon court.
Pipwick the Veiled Scholar wishes for the moon’s knowledge so he may win the admiration of his colleagues at the Midnight College. Rewards: A share in the grant money (100G) and access to the Cacophonous library.
Mother Cloyne has seen the dread things that come to pass if the Moon God’s secrets are revealed. The PCs must unite the body and destroy it with emerald flame. Rewards: Cloyne can spare but little, but if they return with the god tears she will craft a piece of moon armour for each PC (+2AC while the moon is waxing).
Crawl your way through this forgotten cathedral and piece together a ancient god, whilst experiencing the waxing and waning of the celestial bodies.
