Very few musical artists have permeated an entire culture like Ozzy and Black Sabbath. Little needs to be said about what contributions he made to rock, music in general, and above all else heavy metal. But what I think resonates the most is that Ozzy and the rest of Sabbath were a reflection of a more grim and resilient counter culture that stood in contrast to the establishment.

I think it's safe to say that EF wears its influences on its sleeve and owe much to Ozzy and Metal, from our name to our aesthetic.

It’s no wonder Ozzy became a cultural icon and his presence will be sorely missed but his undeniable influence will echo forever.
