The court of Jarl Olaf Gunnbjörn is holding a feast!
The Norsemen of the region are soon departing on a raid and his daughter Ingrid is celebrating her betrothal to Varghöss Sigurdsson, an ambitious nobleman of a neighbouring settlement.
Though the marriage will put an end to the rivalry between two clans there are forces working against the union: Grimhulda the swamp witch, who uses her dark magics to take revenge upon the Jarl for rejecting her love decades ago and Fridha, the Jarl's wife, who realises that Varghöss is her own illegitimate son!

I backed this a while ago on kickstarter cause it seemed interesting and was produced by the Melsonians. Lo and Behold when it arrived, it just seemed off. I flipped through the pages and saw that the map had been printed twice within one page. There was very little text and without even reading it, it felt like it was missing a lot.
Then I read through it and was just disappointed.
There are various locations that aren't connected or fleshed out, there doesn't appear to be any excitement for players in the content either. Progressing requires niche or specific knowledge that players are often not given or hinted at. Whilst the premise seems great, running this seems like great pain - taking a friend's quote for this:
"On the "How to Run Benighted Betrothal" page it acknowledges this with, quote: "Sometimes a little push is needed for the characters to take action. You can easily set things up so the party is given a quest." This is followed by a list of suggested quests, none of which are realized in the book's text itself. As the GM running this, you have to figure it out yourself, it seems."
All in all, I cannot recommend the adventure at all
